How To Properly Clean The Refrigerator?

1. Cut off the power.
Take the food out of the refrigerator first, then take out the shelves, fruit and vegetable boxes, bottle frames, etc. in the refrigerator. Use a rag dipped in water mixed with detergent to scrub the attachment, dry it with a rag after washing, or place it in a ventilated and dry place to allow it to air dry naturally.
The tray receiving sewage at the back cover, the rubber sealing strip of the refrigerator door, the drain hole of the refrigerator compartment, etc. are all places that are easily overlooked. The odor that cannot be dissipated in the refrigerator usually comes from these places, which cannot be ignored when cleaning.

2. Clean the refrigerator door seal.
If the grooves in the rubber sealing strip of the refrigerator door have black dirt and spots, it may cause the refrigerator door to not close tightly and affect the operation efficiency of the refrigerator. You must pay attention to cleaning.
Use dishwashing liquid on an old toothbrush at home, dry the grooves, and then dry with a dry cloth; you can also use a kitchen towel moistened with dishwashing liquid to wrap your chopsticks, or a cotton swab moistened with alcohol.

3. Defrosting the refrigerator.
If the ice in the refrigerator is too thick, do not use a hard object to chisel or shovel, so as not to damage the condensation tube, let the refrigerator defrost naturally before wiping. To remove ice quickly, use a hairdryer to blow out ice cubes after unplugging to loosen them.

4. Clean the refrigerator door.
Refrigerator door cleaning is relatively simple. Dab a few times with a sponge or rag moistened with a little detergent, then dry with a dry cloth. You can use a soft cloth dipped in a little toothpaste to wipe slowly, the detergency is very strong; some stains are too firm and can be scrubbed with a different brush.

5. Clean the compressor and condenser.
The compressor and condenser are located on the back and sides of the refrigerator, which are prone to dust, which affects heat dissipation, shortens the life of parts, and reduces the cooling effectiveness.
Cleaning is simple, just use a clean refrigerator cleaning brush or dry cloth to remove dust, but be careful, never use a damp cloth.
